How SALDAC is organized
The General Assembly
All members in good standing. It is SALDAC's supreme decision-making body and meets at least once a year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), held no later than the last day of March.
The Board of Directors
The elected Executive Officers and up to four Directors-at-Large. The Board is responsible for the overall management of the Association and meets at least quarterly.
The Executive Committee
The President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer, who manage day-to-day operations between Board meetings.
Elections
Members elect the President directly for a five-year term, with a limit of two consecutive terms. The President appoints the other officers, subject to ratification by the Board.
SALDAC is a nonprofit registered in Alberta, Corporate Access Number 5019194405. It is not a registered charity, so it cannot issue tax receipts at this time.
